Sophia Shannon is a junior at Oakwood High School. She joined The Ax at the recommendation of her friend and fellow journalist Karina Czeiszperger, and she is so glad that she did! She has enjoyed getting to know the other journalists very much. Sophia loves acting, painting, and reading in her free time.

New normal: In response to recommendations and orders from the CDC and state and federal governments, some businesses tape markers six feet apart for consumers to stand on in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
