Oakwood defeated Carlisle on Jan. 4 66-43 in match one and 92-33 in match two.
It is a good start for the academic quiz team in an effort to defend their SWBL title. Their record is currently 1-0.
“We practice on Mondays and Wednesdays which prepares us for these competitions,” Matthew Drummond (10) said. “There isn’t that much pressure on us because in the last 40 years we have won most SWBL titles.”
